Each year there are hundreds of changes to Workers Compensation legislation across Australia. If you don’t have time to wade through all of the government literature, then the good news is, we do! Wades stays abreast of those changes and provides you with simplified effective policies addressing OHS obligations. For example, last year there were changes made to the First Aid legislation. The Wades policy development team, broke down the 70 page document and condensed it to a two page Policy. Some specific changes referred to the use of disposable first aid equipment. All first aid supplies need to be ‘one use’ items, dramatically reducing the risk of infection. Simply put, this means, that Wades supplies a policy that deals with the changes, and now that you and your staff are aware of it, you can gradually upgrade your first aid box with ‘one use’ equipment. Having an effective OH&S System it is about taking small steps on a daily basis.
